What Happened
The power steering system in your XC90 is responsible for making it easier to turn the wheel. There's a part called the power steering oil pipe that connects to the steering gear valve housing, and it might be leaking.
Risk if Unfixed
If the oil pipe leaks, you could lose power steering while driving, making it harder to control your vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Volvo dealer will replace the oil pipes on the power steering rack at no cost to you. This repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.
