STEERING:LINKAGES:TIE ROD ASSEMBLY

Manufacturer
Nissan North America, Inc.
What Happened
Your Sentra's tie rod assembly helps connect your steering wheel to your wheels, allowing you to turn the car. In some 2020-2022 models, the tie rod can bend and break.
Risk if Unfixed
If the tie rod breaks, you could lose control of your steering, making it harder to guide your car and increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Nissan dealer will inspect and replace any bent or broken tie rods for free. Once they have the new parts, they'll replace both left and right tie rods, also free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible, especially if you've noticed your steering wheel is off-center or your car is vibrating.
