FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE Safety Recalls

Critical #13V068000 Plain English
Component

FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY

Manufacturer
Nissan North America, Inc.
What Happened
The fuel tank in your 2013 Sentra is the container that holds the gasoline. In some of these vehicles, the tank wasn't sealed properly during manufacturing, which means it could leak a small amount of gas when the tank is full.
Risk if Unfixed
If fuel leaks from the tank and an ignition source is nearby, it could start a fire. This is a serious safety risk that could cause damage to your vehicle and potentially put you in harm's way.
Free Fix
Your Nissan dealer will replace the fuel tank with a new, properly sealed one at no cost to you. You'll be notified when the repair is ready, and you should schedule it as soon as possible.
