POWER TRAIN Safety Recalls

Critical #14V142000 Plain English
Component

POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:COOLING UNIT AND LINES

Manufacturer
Nissan North America, Inc.
What Happened
The internal oil cooler hose in your Pathfinder is a small tube that helps keep your CVT transmission running smoothly. In some 2013 models made between April 18 and October 3, 2012, this hose might not be attached properly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the hose comes loose, transmission fluid will leak out, and your transmission could fail to shift properly. This might cause your vehicle to lose power and stop accelerating, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Nissan dealer will install a new oil hose repair kit, free of charge, to ensure your transmission stays safe and reliable. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.
