ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING

Manufacturer
NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC.
What Happened
The bolts that hold the oil filter and oil cooler to your engine might be weaker than they should be. This can cause them to break, leading to an oil leak.
Risk if Unfixed
If the engine oil leaks, the oil pressure drops, and your engine could seize. This could make it hard to control your vehicle and increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Nissan dealer will replace the faulty bolts with new ones free of charge. You'll get a notification, and you should schedule the repair as soon as possible.
