What Happened
The latches that keep your doors closed in your Mazda6 are held in place by screws. Over time, these screws can come loose, which could cause your door to open unexpectedly.
Risk if Unfixed
If all three screws become loose, the door latch won't work properly, and your door could swing open while you're driving, making you more likely to be in an accident or get hurt.
Free Fix
Your Mazda dealer will add a special adhesive to keep the screws secure, and then retighten them, all for free. Just wait for the recall notice and schedule the repair.
