BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA

Manufacturer
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)
What Happened
The rearview camera system in your vehicle uses a camera to display what's behind your car when you're reversing. In some 2021-2023 models, the camera image might not show up on your display.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rearview image doesn't appear, you'll have reduced visibility when backing up – this could lead to a crash, especially in tight spaces or when children or pets are around.
Free Fix
Your dealer will update the software in your car's radio to fix the issue, and this update will be done at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.
