What Happened
The rear wheelhouse plug on your vehicle is a small cover that keeps exhaust gases from entering the passenger area. In some cases, this plug can come loose or even fall off, allowing those gases to seep in.
Risk if Unfixed
If the plug is missing or loose, exhaust gases could flow into the passenger area, potentially causing symptoms like nausea and dizziness, and in rare cases, unconsciousness or even death.
Free Fix
Your dealer will check the plug and install a new one if needed, completely free of charge. You should schedule this inspection as soon as possible to ensure your safety while driving.
