AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:PASSENGER SIDE:INFLATOR MODULE

Manufacturer
General Motors, LLC
What Happened
The airbag in your passenger seat is designed to deploy in a crash to protect you. In certain older models of your Escalade, Avalanche, Silverado, or Yukon, the airbag's explosive propellant can degrade over time, causing it to malfunction.
Risk if Unfixed
If the airbag explodes, it could send sharp metal fragments flying into your body, causing serious injury or even death, while you're driving or riding in your vehicle.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the faulty airbag inflator with a new, safer one at no cost to you – this is a free repair, and you should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.
