SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:ANTILOCK/TRACTION CONTROL/ELECTRONIC LIMITED SLIP

Manufacturer
GENERAL MOTORS CORP.
What Happened
The anti-lock brake system (ABS) sensor in your vehicle is like a messenger that helps your brakes know when to kick in. Over time, it can get clogged up with corrosion in certain areas, like coastal states with high salt levels.
Risk if Unfixed
If the ABS sensor gets clogged, your brakes might not work as well as they should, especially at slow speeds. This could cause you to stop a little farther back than usual, which might lead to a collision.
Free Fix
Your dealer will clean and protect the ABS sensor's mounting surface, replace the sensor with a new one, and make sure it's working correctly – all free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.
