What Happened
The fuel filter in your vehicle is a safety device that keeps your engine running smoothly. The Purolator filter you're using might have a design flaw that could cause it to leak fuel.
Risk if Unfixed
If the filter leaks, you could spill fuel, and if there's an ignition source nearby, it could catch fire. This is a serious safety risk.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the faulty filter with a safe one, at no cost to you. This repair is free, and you should contact your dealer to schedule it as soon as possible.

CERTAIN AFTERMARKET FUEL FILTERS SOLD UNDER THE PUROLATOR BRAND NAME, P/N F65277, SHIPPED FROM JANUARY 16 THROUGH JUNE 2, 2006, FOR USE ON THE ABOVE LISTED PASSENGER VEHICLES. DUE TO INCORRECT DESIGN, THE QUICK CONNECTORS MAY NOT FULLY SEAT WITH THE TUBE INTERFACE, EVEN THOUGH THE PERSON MAKING THE CONNECTION MAY BELIEVE THAT THE QUICK CONNECTOR IS FULLY ATTACHED.

What Happened
The amber side reflectors on your headlight assemblies help make your vehicle more visible to other drivers. The headlamps installed on your vehicle are missing these reflectors, which is a safety issue.
Risk if Unfixed
Without the amber side reflectors, your vehicle's visibility at night or in low-light conditions could be reduced, increasing the risk of a collision.

K2 MOTOR IS RECALLING 1,921 AFTERMARKET HEADLAMPS OF VARIOUS MODELS SOLD FOR USE ON THE ABOVE LISTED VEHICLES. THESE HEADLAMPS ARE MISSING THE AMBER SIDE REFLEX REFLECTOR WHICH FAILS TO CONFORM WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, "LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT."
