DUE TO INCORRECT DESIGN, THE QUICK CONNECTORS MAY NOT FULLY SEAT WITH THE TUBE INTERFACE, EVEN THOUGH THE PERSON MAKING THE CONNECTION MAY BELIEVE THAT THE QUICK CONNECTOR IS FULLY ATTACHED.

The pawl pivot area in your door latch is where a tiny hinge lets your rear door open and close smoothly. In some vehicles sold in certain states, this area can corrode over time, making your rear door harder to open and close.
Risk if Unfixed
If your rear door isn't latched properly, it could swing open while you're driving, potentially causing you to fall out of the vehicle and get hurt.
Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will inspect and fix the rear door latch for free. If it's working properly, they'll just lubricate it to prevent future corrosion. If it needs replacing, they'll swap it out with a new one, also at no cost to you.
