What Happened
The rearview camera system in your vehicle helps you see what's behind you when you're reversing. In some 2019-2021 Ram ProMaster and 2019-2020 Dodge Journey models, a tiny crack in the camera's computer could block the image from appearing on your screen.
Risk if Unfixed
If the camera image doesn't show up, you'll have a reduced view of what's behind your vehicle, which could lead to a collision or accident.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the rearview camera with a new one, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible once you receive the recall notice, and contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403 if you have any questions.
