Component
SUSPENSION:FRONT
Manufacturer
BMW of North America, LLC
What Happened
The swivel bearings in your vehicle's front suspension help connect the steering and wheels. In some 2020 X3 and X4 models, these bearings might not be strong enough.
Risk if Unfixed
If a swivel bearing breaks while you're driving, you could lose control of your vehicle, which increases the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will replace the front axle swivel bearings with new, stronger ones, at no cost to you. Don't drive your vehicle until the repair is done, and schedule an appointment as soon as you can.
