SEAT BELTS:PRETENSIONER

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The pretensioner is a critical part of your seatbelt that helps keep you safe in a crash. In some 2025 Audi Q5, Q5 Sportback, SQ5, and SQ5 Sportback models, the pretensioner might not be working correctly.
Risk if Unfixed
If your seatbelt's pretensioner fails, you or your passenger could be at a higher risk of serious injury during a collision. This is because the seatbelt might not be able to properly restrain you.
Free Fix
Your authorized Audi dealer will replace the faulty seatbelts at no cost to you. You can schedule the repair when you receive the recall notice — it's free, and it's crucial for your safety.
