The rear axle alignment may not have been inspected after the repairs for Recall 21V-295 (42L1) were performed.

SUSPENSION:REAR:AXLE:NON-POWERED AXLE ASSEMBLY

The lock nut on your vehicle's rear axle is a small metal piece that keeps the axle in place. In some 2021-2020 models, this nut can break due to corrosion, letting the axle move out of position.

The compact charging cable in your vehicle is meant to help you charge your car at home using a 220V/240V outlet. However, in some cases, this cable can cause the outlet to overheat.
Risk if Unfixed
If the outlet overheats, it could catch on fire, which is a serious safety risk.

Your Audi dealer will replace the compact charging cable with a new one that's designed to prevent overheating, at no cost to you.

(Audi) is recalling certain 2022-2024 RS e-tron GT, e-tron GT, Q4 e-tron Sportback, Q4 e-tron, 2020-2021 Audi A8, 2019-2024 e-tron Quattro, 2020-2024 e-tron Sportback Quattro, Q5, and 2021-2022 A7 vehicles. When using the industrial 220V/240V plug at the 100% charge setting, some home power outlets may be incapable of handling the electrical current required to utilize the compact charging system, causing the outlet or charging cable to overheat.

An overheated outlet or charging cable can increase the risk of a fire.

Owners are advised not to use the 220V/240V compact/portable charging cable and only use the 110V home charging cable or public charging stations. Dealers will supply a new 220V/240V compact/portable charging cable with an incorporated temperature sensor, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 28, 2024. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:BODY CONTROL MODULE/BCM

What Happened
The body control module, or BCM, is a computer that helps control your Audi's lights, wipers, and other features. In some 2018-2022 Q5 and SQ5 models, water can leak in and damage this module, causing it to shut down.
Risk if Unfixed
If the BCM fails, your engine's power will suddenly drop, making it harder to control your vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will add a protective cover to the BCM and seal any gaps underneath your vehicle, all free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible after getting the recall notice.

Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Audi) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Q5 Sportback, SQ5 Sportback, 2018-2022 Q5, and SQ5 vehicles. A liquid spill in the rear seat, or water ingress from an insufficient body seam underneath the vehicle may allow liquid to penetrate the gateway control module, causing it to shutdown.

A gateway control module shutdown will suddenly reduce engine power, increasing the risk of a crash.

What Happened
The front seats in your vehicle have a frame that holds the backrest in place. In some 2020-2021 models, this frame wasn't welded correctly, which could cause it to break.
Risk if Unfixed
If you get rear-ended, the backrest might not stay in place, and you could be at higher risk of injury because the seat won't be doing its job to restrain you.
Free Fix
Your Volkswagen or Audi dealer will inspect the front seats and replace the seatback frames if they're not welded correctly – free of charge. You'll be notified when it's time to schedule the repair.

The rear wheel arch cover trim is a decorative piece that protects your wheel well. In some 2018-2020 Audi SQ5 and Q5 models, it can come loose and fall off.
