FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.)
What Happened
The fuel pump in your vehicle is the part that sends gasoline from the tank to your engine. In your 2013-2023 Honda Accord, Civic, CR-V, or other affected models, this pump may fail without warning.
Risk if Unfixed
If the pump fails on the road, your engine will suddenly shut off — you'll lose power steering and power brakes. This could make it hard to control your vehicle and increase the chance of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Honda dealer will swap out the faulty fuel pump module for a new one, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice, which was mailed on September 6, 2024.
