Manufacturer
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.)
What Happened
The brake master cylinder in your Acura ILX is a critical part that helps control your brakes. It's possible that contaminated brake fluid has caused a seal inside the master cylinder to warp, which could lead to a brake fluid leak.
Risk if Unfixed
If the brake fluid leak happens, it could cause your brakes to fail, making it harder to stop your vehicle. This could lead to a longer stopping distance and increase the risk of a crash or injury.
Free Fix
Your Acura dealer will replace the brake master cylinder with a new one, completely free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible to ensure your safety on the road.
