Component
VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER
Manufacturer
VOLVO CARS OF N.A. LLC.
What Happened
The wiper arm on your vehicle is the part that moves back and forth to clean your windshield. In some cases, if you don't properly clean your windshield before driving in bad weather, the wiper arm could slip off its track, making it impossible to use the wipers.
Risk if Unfixed
If your wipers can't move and you're driving in bad weather, you'll have a hard time seeing the road ahead. This could lead to a crash.
Free Fix
Your Volvo dealer will replace the wiper arms and the parts that hold them in place – it's free. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.
