SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:FOUNDATION COMPONENTS:MASTER CYLINDER
Manufacturer
CARDONE INDUSTRIES, INC.
What Happened
The master cylinder is a critical part of your vehicle's brake system, responsible for sending fluid to your brakes when you press the pedal. In certain cases, the seal on this part can fail and leak brake fluid.
Risk if Unfixed
If the master cylinder seal fails, you'll lose brake fluid, which can cause your brakes to perform poorly. This could lead to a vehicle crash, especially if you need to stop suddenly.
Free Fix
Your dealer will notify you, but if you've already purchased a defective master cylinder, you can contact Cardone directly at 1-800-777-4780 to arrange for a repurchase. This is at no cost to you.
