What Happened
The rearview camera on your vehicle is a feature that shows what's behind you when you're reversing. In some 2021-2025 Volvo models, the camera image may not show up when you're in reverse.
Risk if Unfixed
If the camera image doesn't display, you'll be driving blind behind your vehicle, which increases the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Volvo dealer will update the software that controls the rearview camera, so you'll get the correct image when reversing. This update is completely free, and you should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.
