What Happened
The power steering hose in your vehicle is a critical part that helps your steering system work smoothly. In some 2008-2009 models, the hose wasn't properly sealed, which can cause it to fail without warning.
Risk if Unfixed
If the power steering hose ruptures while you're driving, you'll lose power steering assistance, making it harder to steer your vehicle. This increases your risk of being involved in a crash.
Free Fix
Your authorized Volvo dealer will inspect and replace the faulty power steering hose assembly at no cost to you. You should schedule this repair as soon as possible to ensure your safety on the road.
