What Happened
The master cylinder is a critical part of your vehicle's brake system. It helps control the pressure that makes your brakes work. In certain cases, the seal on your master cylinder might wear out and leak brake fluid.
Risk if Unfixed
If the master cylinder seal fails, you could lose brake fluid. This could make your brakes feel weak or less responsive, increasing the risk of a crash when you need to stop suddenly.
Free Fix
Cardone will contact you and offer to replace the faulty master cylinder for free, or repurchase it from you. You should get in touch with them at 1-800-777-4780 to arrange the repair or repurchase.

The front turn signal bulbs in your vehicle are the lights that flash when you signal left or right. In some cases, the bulb might not be making good contact with the socket, which could stop the turn signal from working.
Risk if Unfixed
If the front turn signal doesn't work, you might not be able to signal to other drivers that you're turning. This could lead to a crash, especially if another driver is relying on your turn signal to change lanes or turn.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the front turn signal bulbs and sockets with new ones, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible to ensure your turn signals are working properly.

Your vehicle has a throttle positioning sensor that helps your car know how fast you're going. Sometimes, this sensor can get dirty or have problems, and the computer might think your car is moving at the wrong speed.
Risk if Unfixed
If this happens, a warning light will turn on, and your car might shift into a 'limp home mode' without warning, which means it will try to get you to a safe place but won't be running at its best. This could cause you to lose some power and control while driving.
Free Fix
Your Volvo dealer will update your car's software to fix the problem, and this service is free. You should schedule the update as soon as you get the recall notice.
