What Happened
The power steering return line hose in your vehicle is a critical part that helps your steering system work smoothly. Unfortunately, a section of this hose in your 2008-2009 Volvo wasn't properly fixed, which makes it prone to failure.
Risk if Unfixed
If the power steering hose fails, it could burst and drain the power steering fluid, causing your power steering to fail completely. This could make steering your vehicle much harder, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Volvo dealer will inspect and replace the steering return line hose with a new one, at no cost to you. You should schedule this repair as soon as possible to ensure your safety on the road.
