What Happened
The driver's seat frame in your Sentra is the part that attaches to the seat track and holds you in place. In some 2025 models, this frame might not be properly secured.
Risk if Unfixed
If your seat isn't attached correctly, you could be at risk of being thrown around or ejected from the vehicle during a crash, which could lead to serious injury.
Free Fix
Your authorized Nissan dealer will inspect the driver's seat frame and replace it if it's not up to standard – at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.

Original — What Happened
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2025 Sentra vehicles. The driver's seat frame may not be fully secured to the outer side of the seat track. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 207, "Seating Systems," and 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

An unsecured driver's seat may not adequately restrain the driver during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the driver's side lower seat frame assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 1, 2025. Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at 1-800-867-7669. Nissan's number for this recall is PMA45.
