Component
ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING
Manufacturer
NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC.
What Happened
The intake air ducts in your Murano are like flexible tubes that help direct air to your engine. Over time, these tubes can shrink and become brittle, potentially breaking loose from the resonator.
Risk if Unfixed
If the ducts break loose, your engine may stall while you're driving, which could increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Nissan dealer will inspect the intake air ducts and fix or replace them as needed, all at no cost to you. They'll also start the process when you get a recall notice, but feel free to schedule the repair sooner if you'd like.
