What Happened
The intake air ducts in your Murano are the tubes that direct air into your engine. Over time, these tubes can shrink and separate from the resonator, which could cause problems.
Risk if Unfixed
If this happens, your engine may stall unexpectedly while you're driving, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Nissan dealer will inspect and replace or repair the affected components, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.

AIR BAGS

Manufacturer
NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC.
What Happened
The Occupant Classification System (OCS) in your vehicle is a computer that helps the airbag deploy in a crash. It's located in the passenger seat cushion and uses a varistor to work properly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the varistor fails, the airbag might not deploy when it's supposed to in a crash, leaving you without the protection it's meant to provide.
Free Fix
Your Nissan dealer will test the OCS system to make sure it's working correctly. If it's not, they'll replace the seat cushion with a new one that's guaranteed to work right – and this repair is completely free.
