Component
ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING
Manufacturer
NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC.
What Happened
The intake air ducts in your Murano are like flexible tubes that direct air into your engine. Over time, these ducts can shrink and separate from the resonator, which could cause problems.
Risk if Unfixed
If the ducts separate, your engine may stall while you're driving, which could lead to a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Nissan dealer will inspect and fix or replace the affected parts free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.
