What Happened
The door latch in your Mazda6 is the mechanism that keeps your doors closed. In some 2009-2013 models, the screws that hold it in place can become loose over time.
Risk if Unfixed
If the screws come loose, your door might swing open while you're driving, which could cause an accident or put you at risk of injury.
Free Fix
Your Mazda dealer will apply a special adhesive to the screws and tighten them securely, all at no cost to you. They'll take care of this fix when you get a recall notice.
