What Happened
The fuel rail shield is a protective covering for the fuel lines in your engine. In your 2008-2011 Lincoln Town Car limousine, it was left off during manufacturing.
Risk if Unfixed
If your vehicle is involved in a front-end crash, the fuel lines could get damaged, causing them to leak fuel. This could lead to a fire if an ignition source is present.
Free Fix
Your dealership will provide a repair kit and instructions for you to have your vehicle fixed at a location of your choice. The repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as possible.
