What Happened
The wheel bearings and axles in your vehicle are designed to handle heavy loads, but if you're using your vehicle for work or have a lot of passengers, they might wear out faster than usual.
Risk if Unfixed
If the bearings fail, your axle shaft could break, causing you to lose power and have no control over the vehicle. This could lead to a crash if you're not able to coast to a safe stop.
Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will replace the wheel bearings, seals, and axle shafts for free, so be sure to schedule the repair as soon as possible.
