Component
EXTERIOR LIGHTING:TURN SIGNAL
Manufacturer
Kia Motors America
What Happened
The Smart Junction Box in your Sedona is a computer that helps your turn signals work. In some 2015-2017 models, this box might misread the signal you give it, causing your turn signal to flash in the opposite direction you intend.
Risk if Unfixed
If this happens, you could accidentally signal you're turning when you're not, which could confuse other drivers and increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Kia dealer will update the SJB software to fix the issue, and this repair is completely free. You should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.
