What Happened
The front brake caliper is a crucial part of your vehicle's braking system. In some cases, the calipers in your SUV may have been made with the wrong type of metal, which could break without warning.
Risk if Unfixed
If the caliper fails, you could lose control of your vehicle, and it might take longer to stop. This could lead to a crash, especially in emergency stops or on steep hills.
Free Fix
Your dealer will inspect the caliper to see if it needs to be replaced. If it does, they'll swap it out with a new one at no cost to you. This repair is part of the recall, and you should schedule it as soon as possible.
