What Happened
Your Honda Accord, Accord Hybrid, CR-V Hybrid, or Civic/Civic Hybrid may have a faulty high-pressure fuel pump that could crack and leak fuel.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel pump cracks, it could leak fuel, which in the presence of a spark could cause a fire.
Free Fix
The dealership will inspect and replace the fuel pump for free. You should bring your vehicle in and they'll take care of it at no cost to you.

Original — What Happened
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Honda Accord, Accord Hybrid, 2023-2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid, and 2025 Honda Civic and Civic Hybrid vehicles. The high-pressure fuel pump may crack and leak fuel.
Original — Risk if Unfixed
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the high-pressure fuel pump as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed February 20, 2025. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's number for this recall is PJW.

What Happened
The fuel pump in your vehicle is the part that sends gasoline from the tank to your engine. It's located inside the fuel tank and could fail in your Accord, Civic, or other affected models from 2013 to 2023.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel pump fails while you're driving, your engine could stall, making it hard to control your vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your authorized Honda dealer will replace the faulty fuel pump with a new one, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice in the mail.

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2013-2023 Honda Accord, Civic Coupe, Civic Sedan, Civic Hatchback, Civic Type R, CR-V, HR-V, Ridgeline, Odyssey, Acura ILX, MDX, MDX Hybrid, RDX, RLX, TLX, 2019-2022 Honda Insight, Passport, 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid, 2018-2019 Honda Clarity PHEV, Fit, and 2015-2020 Honda Accord Hybrid, Pilot, Acura NSX vehicles. The fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.
