AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:PASSENGER SIDE:INFLATOR MODULE

Manufacturer
General Motors, LLC
What Happened
The airbag in the passenger side of your vehicle is designed to deploy in a crash to protect you and others. In certain 2007-2011 models, the airbag's propellant can degrade over time, causing it to potentially explode.
Risk if Unfixed
If the airbag inflator explodes, sharp metal fragments could hit you or other passengers, leading to severe injury or even death.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the faulty airbag inflator with a safer one, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice, and don't wait – this is a critical safety fix.
