SUSPENSION:REAR
Manufacturer

What Happened
The rear suspension toe links in your Lincoln MKT or Ford Flex or Taurus are like the joints that connect your rear wheels to the rest of your vehicle. They help keep your car stable while driving. In some 2013-2018 models with the Police Interceptor or SHO Performance Pack, these links can break under heavy stress.
Risk if Unfixed
If a rear toe link breaks, your vehicle's handling will change suddenly, making it harder to control. This could cause a crash, especially if you're driving at high speeds or in heavy traffic.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the broken toe links with new ones, free of charge, as soon as the necessary parts become available. You'll be notified by mail when the fix is ready, but you can also contact Ford or Lincoln customer service at 1-866-436-7332 or 1-800-521-4140 for more information.
