SUSPENSION:REAR

Manufacturer
Ford Motor Company
What Happened
The toe links in your rear suspension are like the joints that connect the wheels to the body of your Lincoln or Ford. In some 2013-2018 models, these links can break under stress, causing your vehicle to behave erratically.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rear toe link fractures, your vehicle could start pulling to one side, making it hard to steer. This could increase the risk of a crash, especially when driving at high speeds or in emergency situations.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the faulty toe links with new ones, free of charge. You'll receive a notification when the new parts are available, and you should schedule the repair as soon as possible.

What Happened
The part in question is the B-Pillar door trim on your Flex, which is the piece of plastic that connects the roof to the side of the car. It's a safety feature to keep the doors closed while driving.
Risk if Unfixed
If the B-Pillar trim detaches while you're driving, it could create a road hazard, like a loose piece of plastic in your path. This could increase the risk of a crash, especially if another driver hits it.
Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will repair or replace the B-Pillar trim as needed, at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair once you get the recall notice – it's free, and it's a necessary step to ensure your safety on the road.
