BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA

Manufacturer
Ford Motor Company
What Happened
The rearview camera in your vehicle is a critical safety feature that shows what's behind you. In certain Ford models from 2015-2020, the camera might display a distorted, intermittent, or blank image when you're in reverse.
Risk if Unfixed
If the camera fails to show a clear image, you could struggle to see what's behind your vehicle, increasing the risk of a collision, especially when reversing in tight spaces or parking lots.
Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will inspect and replace the rearview camera if necessary, at no cost to you. You'll receive a notification when the remedy is available for your specific vehicle, and you should schedule the repair as soon as you get the notice.
