What Happened
The rear suspension toe links in your vehicle are the parts that help keep your rear wheels aligned. They can break under stress on the road, especially if you've added a performance package or use your vehicle for police work.
Risk if Unfixed
If a rear toe link breaks, your vehicle's handling will change suddenly, making it harder to control. This could increase the risk of a crash, especially on the highway or when merging with traffic.
Free Fix
Your Ford or Lincoln dealer will replace the faulty rear suspension toe links for free once remedy parts are available. You'll receive a second notice with a specific repair date, which is expected to be by the end of September 2020. In the meantime, you can contact Ford or Lincoln customer service for more information.
