VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER:LINKAGES

Manufacturer
GENERAL MOTORS CORP.
What Happened
Your vehicle's windshield wiper linkages are the parts that connect the wiper arm to the wiper motor. In certain 2007-2008 models of your vehicle, if snow or ice builds up on the windshield or wipers, it could cause the linkages to detach from the motor shaft and make your wipers inoperable.
Risk if Unfixed
If the linkages fail, your windshield wipers could stop working, reducing your visibility while driving. This could increase the risk of a collision, especially in snowy or icy conditions.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the faulty wiper linkages with new parts, including a wiper crank arm, driver's side link, and crank arm nut, free of charge. You should contact your dealer to schedule the repair as soon as possible.
