What Happened
The wire that connects your side airbags and seatbelt pretensioners in your Enclave, Acadia, Traverse, or Outlook is the side impact airbag wiring harness. In some 2008-2013 models, this wire can get too hot and not send the signal to deploy the airbags and seatbelts in a crash.
Risk if Unfixed
If the airbags and seatbelts fail to deploy in a crash, you're at a higher risk of serious injury to your head, neck, and body. This is a serious safety issue that could have life-threatening consequences.
