Component
EXTERIOR LIGHTING:TAIL LIGHTS
Manufacturer
BMW OF NORTH AMERICA, LLC
What Happened
The rear tail lights on your BMW are controlled by electrical contacts inside the body of your car. Over time, these contacts can wear out, causing one or more lights to stop working.
Risk if Unfixed
If the tail lights, brake light, or turn signals stop working, it could be hard for other drivers to see your intentions, increasing the risk of a crash without warning.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will fix the issue for free as soon as possible. They'll replace the faulty contacts to ensure your rear lights work properly.
