Component
EXTERIOR LIGHTING:TAIL LIGHTS
Manufacturer
BMW OF NORTH AMERICA, LLC
What Happened
Your car's tail lights, brake lights, and turn signals are controlled by tiny electrical contacts inside the body of your vehicle. Over time, these contacts can wear out and stop working properly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the contacts fail, your tail lights could flicker or go out without warning, making it harder for other drivers to see your intentions and increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will inspect and repair the electrical contacts for free, so schedule an appointment as soon as you receive the recall notice. This repair is on the house, and it's essential to get it done to ensure your safety on the road.
