Component

SEATS:FRONT ASSEMBLY:SEAT HEATER/COOLER

Manufacturer
Southeast Toyota Distributors, LLC
What Happened
Your car's seat heaters use a special wire to warm up the seat. In some models, the wire can get damaged when the seat cushion is compressed, which could cause a problem with the heating element.
Risk if Unfixed
If the wire gets damaged, it could short circuit and start a fire in your seat. This could happen even when you're not using the seat heaters.
Free Fix
Your dealership will disconnect the seat heaters and refund the purchase price of the accessory - at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.
