FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE

Manufacturer
TOYOTA MOTOR NORTH AMERICA, INC.
What Happened
The pulsation damper in your vehicle's fuel system helps control the flow of gasoline. Unfortunately, it might have been assembled incorrectly, which could damage a crucial part inside.
Risk if Unfixed
If the damaged part fails, fuel could leak, and if there's a spark nearby, it could cause a fire in the engine compartment.
Free Fix
Your authorized Toyota dealer will replace the faulty pulsation damper at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice, and if you have any issues, contact Toyota at 1-800-331-4331.

WHEELS

Manufacturer
SOUTHEAST TOYOTA DISTRIBUTORS
What Happened
The alloy wheels on your vehicle have a specific type of nut that's only meant for the four wheels, not the spare tire. If you put the wrong nut on the spare, it could damage the wheel.
Risk if Unfixed
If you use the wrong nut on the spare wheel, it could get damaged and eventually come loose while driving, which could cause a wheel to fall off.
Free Fix
Your Toyota dealer will give you the correct lug nuts and a warning label for the spare wheel, plus an updated owner's manual. This is a free repair, and you should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL

Manufacturer
TOYOTA MOTOR NORTH AMERICA, INC.
What Happened
The accelerator pedal is the part that controls how fast your vehicle goes. In some 2008-2011 Lexus LX570, 2003-2009 4Runner, and 2006-2010 RAV4 models, the pedal can get stuck in the full speed position because of a floor mat that's not installed correctly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the pedal gets stuck, you could lose control of your vehicle and drive at extremely high speeds, which could cause a serious crash, severe injury, or even death.
Free Fix
Your Toyota or Lexus dealer will modify or replace the accelerator pedal and replace your floor mat for free. This repair is already available, and you should schedule it as soon as possible.
