Component
EXTERIOR LIGHTING:BRAKE LIGHTS
Manufacturer
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)
What Happened
The trailer tow module in your vehicle is a critical part that controls your trailer's lights and brakes. In some 2024-2026 models, this module might not work correctly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the trailer lights don't turn on, other drivers won't see your signals, and you could get into an accident. If the trailer brakes fail, you could lose control of your trailer, which could cause a serious crash.
Free Fix
Your dealership will replace the faulty trailer tow module with a new one at no cost to you. Schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice, and it'll be done for free.
