What Happened
Your Navigator or Expedition has a special air bag on the passenger side that's designed to protect you in case of a crash. Unfortunately, some of these air bags were made incorrectly and might deploy with too much force.

Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the faulty passenger side air bag with a new one that deploys safely and correctly, at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.

Original — What Happened
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2025 Navigator and Expedition vehicles. The passenger side air bag may have been manufactured incorrectly, which can cause the air bag to deploy with excessive force during a crash.
