What Happened
The wiper arm is a critical part that connects your windshield wipers to your vehicle's frame. In some 2021-2023 Lincoln and Ford trucks, this arm can break, causing the wipers to fail.
Risk if Unfixed
If the wiper arms break, you'll lose visibility when it's raining or snowing, which could increase the risk of a crash or accident.

Original — What Happened
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Lincoln Navigator, Expedition, and 2022-2023 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, F-450 SD, F-550 SD, and F-600 SD vehicles. The windshield wiper arms may break, causing the wipers to fail.

Windshield wiper failure can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealers will inspect and replace the wiper arms, as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed April 16, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. What Happened
The moonroof wind deflector in your vehicle is a small plastic piece that directs wind away from your face while driving. In certain Expedition, Navigator, F-150, F-250 SD, F-350 SD, and F-450 SD models, these clips holding it in place might not be secure.
Risk if Unfixed
If the wind deflector detaches, it could become a hazard on the road and increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will inspect and fix or replace the wind deflector if it's not securely attached, at no cost to you. You can schedule the repair once you receive the recall notice.

Original — What Happened
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, 2021-2023 F-150, 2022 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, and F-450 SD vehicles. The moonroof wind deflector clips may be inadequately attached to the moonroof frame, which can result in the wind deflector detaching from the vehicle.

The windshield wiper arms on your F-150, Expedition, or Super Duty are the flexible rods that connect the wiper blades to your windshield. In some 2020-2021 models, these arms can break, causing your wipers to stop working.
Risk if Unfixed
If your windshield wipers fail, you'll have reduced visibility in heavy rain, snow, or fog, which increases the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will replace both front windshield wiper arms with new ones at no cost to you. This repair is free, and you should schedule it when you receive the recall notice.
