What Happened
The brake hoses in your Fusion or Lincoln MKZ are the flexible tubes that carry brake fluid to your front wheels. Over time, they can crack and leak brake fluid.
Risk if Unfixed
If the brake hoses rupture, you'll notice your brake pedal feels softer and takes longer to stop the car. This could make it harder to stop in time, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will replace the brake hoses with new ones, at no cost to you. Schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice and they'll take care of it for free.
