Component
EXTERIOR LIGHTING:TURN SIGNAL
Manufacturer
Kia Motors America
What Happened
Your Sedona's turn signal system has a small computer that helps the turn signals work properly. In some 2015-2017 models, this computer might not understand the signals correctly, causing the turn signal to flash in the wrong direction.
Risk if Unfixed
If this happens, you could signal to other drivers that you're turning in the opposite direction, which could lead to a crash.
Free Fix
Your Kia dealer will update the computer software for free, so you can feel confident in your vehicle's turn signals working correctly. This repair is complimentary, and you should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.
